Conserving Water Is Easy
  • Turn off the Tap - when brushing or lathering.
  • Shower Power - short, less than 5 minutes - even turn off water when lathering!
  • Full Dishwashers Only - and scrape into trash not under a tap with running water.
  • Sweep driveways, sidewalks, and steps rather than hosing off.
  • Wash the car with water from a bucket, or consider using a commercial car wash that recycles water.
  • Water in the morning or at dusk to reduce evaporation.

From Jim and Linda Rawls
Hello again dear family and friends, I've created a blog to provide updates on Linda. Here's the link:
Peace and Love, JJR

So How Is Linda Doing?

According to Jim on CaringBridge.org 7/14/21:

Short answer: So far, she's doing as well as anyone could possibly hope or pray for.

Long answer: It's been two weeks since Linda's bone marrow transplant, and today we saw the first evidence that the donor stem cells have engrafted and are beginning to produce new blood cells. This is welcome news and a big deal. But it also means that now we need to be vigilant for any signs of GVHD (graft versus host disease). Google that, if you dare.

There are more details in the update on the caringbridge.org link above!
