2026 Prayer and Praise

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 (NIV)

February 11, 2026

Cuba: Field Director David Moreno wrote asking missionary Burliss Parker to postpone his trip to Cuba. The situation right now with fuel is terrible. Their vehicles are in the garages because they are not selling the fuel in Cuba for the vehicles to run on. They have no alternative.

There is no diesel being sold in any currency. Work centers, schools, public transportation, interprovincial transportation, trains, etc., are limited and have had their routes reduced—some running every 8 days and others only twice a week. It is a situation like they have never experienced before. Please continue praying for our Open Bible family in Cuba as the entire country is asking God for a miraculous breakthrough.

Liberia: Field Director Rev. Hilary Paul shared that the Open Bible Standard Churches of Liberia held a successful 73rd Annual Conference last month. The theme of the conference was “Why Sit Here and Die?” based on 2 Kings 7:3–4, 9.

This powerful message challenged attendees not to remain in a place of fear, discouragement, or complacency, but to step out in faith and trust God for breakthrough. Just as the four lepers decided to move forward despite uncertainty, reminding everyone that action rooted in faith can lead to unexpected miracles and blessings—not only for ourselves, but for others as well.

Pictured above are those who were baptized after accepting Christ during the Conference.

They have started two new church plants in Ganta and Gbarnga. In addition, they have begun planting crops on 200 acres of land in River Cess County. Please pray that the Lord will continue to guide and direct the National Board and the pastors as they seek to expand the work of Open Bible in Liberia.

Cambodia

Cambodia: MOVE held a dedication service on February 5 at Lifesong Learning Center. U.S. and Cambodian men worked side by side as one team to build three new classrooms in just two weeks. These classrooms will now be used to educate and evangelize the children of Tamada Village and the surrounding communities. We are beyond grateful for every man who sacrificed time, energy, and resources to travel and serve.

A huge thank you to our incredible hosts, Ly and Sarin Mak, and to the entire Lifesong Learning Center staff for caring for our men so well and making this work possible. To the families and church family here in the States, thank you for covering them in prayer every step of the way.

Global Harvest Offering 2026

GHO

The 2026 Global Harvest Offering, titled “Build Hope for Africa,” invites us to join in a powerful revival sweeping across the continent. Through this initiative, we will collaborate with our missionaries and national directors to fund thirteen new church building projects in thirteen different countries. God is working through dedicated missionaries and local leaders to multiply churches, develop leaders, and bring the life-changing hope found only in Jesus to communities in need.

Our goal is clear: raise $200,000 to fully support all thirteen projects.

Your generous support does more than construct buildings—it builds hope, strengthens communities, and advances the Kingdom of God.

We deeply appreciate your partnership in this mission to bring hope to Africa. If you would like to take part in this awesome opportunity today, please click here to donate and help transform lives.
