Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today." (Exodus 14:13, NKJV)
Dear Prayer Partners

Thank you for your continuing support for Prayer for Britain. Part of my vision for Britain is to bring unity into a divided church. It’s too easy for us to criticise others – that’s why I will not identify with criticism. The teaching of Jesus is clear, why condemn the splinter in someone else’s eye when you have a plank of wood in yours? And if we judge, we bring judgement on ourselves! When the disciples attempted to criticise others, Jesus said, “He that is not against us is for us!”

As you know, the situation regarding Brexit has reached a very critical stage. It appears that now that Theresa May’s deal which will be voted on next Tuesday 12th will fail to pass the Commons by approx. 100 votes. That will leave only two possible outcomes, either the vote to reject ‘no deal’, which I believe comes on the 13th, or on the 14th to delay Brexit.

What I am about to share is my own personal opinion, based on what I see in Scripture and what I believe God has revealed to me about the future of the EU in Biblical prophecy. Not all Christians will agree with me, so to avoid division, I simply say that this is my personal opinion, you are welcome to disagree.

Theresa May’s proposal suits neither Leavers or Remainers, as it keeps us locked into the EU and the Customs Union without escape, but losing our membership of the EU Parliament – no votes, just pay the money and become a ‘vassal’ state. Which would leave us worse than our present position as members with voting rights. I cannot accept it. Then, to delay Article 50 would prolong the uncertainty for an undefined period because, if we could not find a suitable deal after two and a half years of negotiations – how can we ever find a solution? To my way of thinking, the correct solution is a managed ‘no deal’. This would not be a disaster, as even German economists agree: our Government would slash taxes, food imports would be cheaper and, to limit damage, cross channel trade would be ‘nodded through’, while permanent solutions were made.

Why are German Christian leaders flying into London this weekend (March 10th), to meet me and a small group of British Christian Leaders?

I believe that the only answer is through prayer. It is interesting that over this last weekend, spending time in prayer, the Lord spoke to me strongly from Exodus 14. Are we in a similar situation as Israel? They were determined to leave Egypt to regain their rightful heritage in the Promised Land, but on coming to the vast Red Sea and discovering that Pharaoh had woken up to the realisation that his slaves had escaped and was now pursuing them with almost his whole army, they panicked. An uncrossable sea in front and a mighty army behind! Two impossibles. Humanly speaking, no way out.

But under the leadership of Moses, God performed three miracles – first He opened the Red Sea. It took all night for the wind to hold back the water and dry the mud before they started to cross. And it says in v19 that the Angel of the Lord removed, with the Cloud, from in front of Israel to behind, hiding Israel by darkness and fog, thus preventing the army from attacking all night. So, in the morning as Israel began the crossing, the Egyptians began to follow. But during the long crossing, the Lord caused their chariot wheels to fall off, so that by the following day, as Israel reached the far side, the Egyptians were far enough in the sea that when Moses commanded it to close over, the whole Egyptian Army was destroyed, all the horses and chariots, the whole army. Three miracles!

I believe that like Israel, we are facing two impossible choices. This is why we must accept the challenge, if we pray in faith, with authority, God CAN make a way where there is no way! I not only believe in miracles, I expect them to happen when we pray! All my life I have experienced such miracles. Not just ‘words’, or prophecies, but action!

I am trying to get The SSE Arena, Wembley, again for an even bigger ‘Gathering Together in Unity’. The only possible date is Saturday August 31st, but two other groups have prior requests for that date. However, if it is God’s plan and purpose – God will move them out of the way. After all, only God knows the times and seasons. So far the dates God has given have been significant! But for the present, I believe that we must renew our efforts in prayer and my request is that we pray in unity wherever we are every Friday, from now until the 29th March, when I will be a small part of Clifford Hill’s day of prayer in the Emmanuel Centre, London.

I believe in a God of Miracles – join me in praying in faith.
