SEPTEMBER 2021
"At this very moment for the people and the nations of the earth
may not even the words - disease, famine, war and suffering be heard.
Rather may their moral conduct, merit, wealth and prosperity increase,
and may supreme good fortune and well being always arise for them."

This Auspicious Wish was composed by Dudjom Jigdral Yeshe Dorje, the renowned Terton Treasure Revealer and direct incarnation of Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche). Dudjom Rinpoche lived from 1904 to 1987 and was considered by Tibetan Buddhists to be a Realized Master. The Supreme Head of the Nyingma School, he was a holder of all the teachings of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, as well as those of the Kagyu, Sakya and Gelug schools.

The power of prayer is central to most religions and spiritual paths. This 4 line prayer is concise yet covers the wishes of all humanity. It is easy to memorize and repeat daily. We have printed the prayer in Tibetan and English on sets of prayer flags for the winds to carry around the earth;

THIS MONTH'S PRACTICE & NAGA OFFERING CALENDARS
The 8th month of the Tibetan year begins September 7 and goes through October 6.
This month the Nagas are busy making their clothing, and important element of Naga culture. It is their season for dressing up and celebrating. If you make offerings to them on Naga Offering days, you will never suffer from the lack of food and clothes. If you make offerings to them on other days, even if you offer very precious things, they will be too busy to attend and there will be no result.

Most of the days of the eighth lunar month are auspicious for making offerings. In particular,September 8, 14 (Medicine Buddha day), 20 (full moon), and October 5 (Dharmapala day) are best.

The days to especially avoid making offerings are the September 16 (Guru day) and the 25th.
We apprectiate feedback from our customers; encouragement ,suggestions and constructive criticism.
