NATIONWIDE CALL TO PRAYER AND ACTION On Saturday May 17 at 10:00am, join Catholic faith leaders from across the United States to protect life-saving international humanitarian assistance. As pilgrims of hope during this holy Jubilee year, let us continue sending a powerful message to Congress that Catholics in the United States stand in solidarity with members of our one global human family. Your voice is crucial in ensuring our sisters and brothers can access lifesaving and life-affirming aid. Your members of Congress hold significant influence to help save lives during this crisis, and they need to hear from you. Pray, learn and act in solidarity with our most vulnerable sisters and brothers around the world. Information, Patrick Barredo, pbarredo@stjames-cathedral.org.
TOILETRY DONATIONS If you are traveling and staying at a hotel, consider bringing the small toiletries back. Donations can be dropped at the Cathedral Bookstore. Our St. Vincent de Paul conference packages the toiletries and distributes them to those in need. Thank you!

She was born to teenage parents with addiction problems and was passed around to different family members as a child. She too struggled with addiction and is tearful in describing how proud she is to be in treatment and making all her appointments. She asks for your prayers. SVdP, with your generous help, was able to help with a needed portion of her rent. Those in need of assistance can call the SVdP Helpline (206-767-6449 or apply online https://svdpseattle.org/get-help/online-help-request-form/) Information, Blake Steller, 907-244-6683 or blsteller@gmail.com

Registered parishioners receive important mailings from the Cathedral, are able to celebrate their wedding at the Cathedral, and their children may attend any of the Catholic Rainbow Schools at parishioner rates (and become eligible for Cathedral scholarships). In addition, if you are a registered parishioner and use envelopes, or are on the direct debit program, we will mail you a quarterly report of your contributions to the parish. To register, visit www.stjames-cathedral.org.
