Summer is unfolding around us and the sun is causing the Earth to spring forth in new and greening life. As people of faith we are held in the sacred cycles of birth, life, death and resurrection. 

I write to let you know of the death of one our members, Frederick Becton. Frederick passed away at Abbott Northwestern Hospital on Friday, June 30th after a short illness. A SERVICE TO CELEBRATE HIS LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE ART GALLERY  TOMORROW,  SUNDAY, JULY 2nd AT 11:15. 

Frederick was a faithful member of Hennepin and could be seen greeting the community at Sacred Journey  on Sunday mornings. Let us keep his family and friends in our prayers. We know that God walks with us and holds us all in mercy, in life and in death, and in the promise of resurrection.
