BWA General Secretary Elijah Brown was blessed to serve alongside Devanand Kadariya (NBCC General Secretary) and other Baptist leaders in Nepal last month.

Praise:

We thank God for blessing us with a beautiful country, home to the highest mountain in the world – Mt. Everest.
We praise God for His mighty work among us as we witness a steady growth in the number of churches.

Prayer:

Please join us in praying for political stability in Nepal and for timely elections under the new interim government.
Please join us in prayer for our mission, NBCC Vision 2050, through which we aim to establish 2,500 churches over the next 25 years and to share the Gospel with 1.5 million people.

Please also join us in prayer for the people of Bhutan.

Mission Consultation

BWA Director of Integral Mission Everton Jackson and Global Baptist Mission Network Chair Scott Pilgrim were honored to serve at the Asia Pacific Baptist Federation (APBF) Connected and Sent Mission Consultation in Malaysia last week. We give thanks for how God moved through this forum for shared learning, multi-convention collaboration, and vision casting for missional transformation.

Praying for the Caribbean

Our sisters and brothers across the Caribbean are facing immense hardship in the wake of Hurricane Melissa. The devastation in Jamaica and Cuba is widespread with homes, hospitals, churches, and schools severely damaged and vital infrastructure crippled by power outages. The BWA calls our global family to unite in prayer and action, standing together in faith and compassion. We invite you to lift up our Caribbean family and respond with generosity.
