Thank you for joining us this week as we at the Baptist World Alliance pray for our global Baptist family and for God's work around the world. If you pray along with us weekly, you will pray for every country in the world in 2025.

Praises and prayer requests listed for each country are provided by local BWA member partners when possible. Statistics provided are reflective of latest data received.

Men and women in Cambodia gathered to pray for the world as part of the Baptist Women's World Day of Prayer.

Praise:

We praise God for the food outreach ministry that is providing vital support for families and leading to many decisions for Christ. We also thank God for the leadership training program that is offered monthly in the CBU office. In November, 45 pastors and church leaders gathered from across 10 provinces.

Prayer:

Pray for CBU's monthly food distribution program to continue to open doors to share the Gospel. Pray for access to more Bibles that can be shared with new church plants as well as a mobile Bible training program for new believers to learn basic theological knowledge.

16 Days of Activism Against

Gender-Based Violence

Every ten minutes, a woman or girl loses her life at the hands of a partner or family member. One in three women will experience violence at some point in their lives. These realities are heartbreaking, yet this violence can be prevented when we stand together in prayer, advocacy, and action. Join with the BWA, BWA Women, and other organizations around the world in 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. We specifically invite you to participate in the Red Chair Project, a global campaign seeking to raise awareness as part of our Stand Against Domestic Violence Initiative.

Simply reserve an empty chair in a public place alongside information about domestic abuse and violence against women. The empty chair acts as a powerful symbol that we are holding "A Place for Them" for the many women who have lost their lives but are not forgotten. Pictured above is a Red Chair display at the Ndawo Yakho women and children's shelter in South Africa.

Please also join us in unified prayer for all those who are currently living in abusive situations or recovering from the pain of past abuse.

A Prayer from Vietnam

O, we remember, O Lord,

those who suffer from any kind of discrimination,

your children, and our brothers and sisters,

who are humiliated and oppressed.

We pray for those who are denied fundamental human rights,

for those who are imprisoned,

and especially those who are tortured.

Our thoughts rest a few moments with them…

And we pray that your love and compassion may sustain them always.
