Praise:

Join us in praising God for the historic appointment of Rev. Adv. Botrus Mansour, a Baptist minister from Nazareth, as the Secretary General for the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA).

Prayer:

Join us in prayer for lasting peace between Israel and Gaza. Pray also for emotional healing and trauma care in both societies. Pray for our churches to serve as a voice of true peace – with God and with others – shining as a light in the midst of darkness and bearing witness to Jesus for all who live in the land.

Jordan

Members of the European Baptist Federation (EBF) Abound Network and members of the BWA Team gathered in Jordan last year.

Praise:

We give thanks for the hospitality of Jordanian Baptists who hosted the 2025 EBF Council and 75th Anniversary Celebration. We also give thanks for the leadership of Nabeeh Abbassi who was appointed last year as the first BWA Ambassador to the Middle East and Ruba Rihani Abbassi who was appointed as First Vice President of BWA Women.

Prayer:

Pray for continued peace and protection for Jordan. Pray that Jordan would be an impactful leader in the Arab World for truth, love, and human rights.

Please join us also in prayer for the people of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

2026 BWA Annual Gathering

We are excited to collaborate with Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM), North American Baptist Fellowship, and Tyndale University to offer a wonderful experience as we gather as global Baptists from July 6-10, 2026, in Toronto, Canada, for the 2026 BWA Annual Gathering.

Focused on the theme "The Table of Christ: One Gospel, Many People," we will worship, pray, and fellowship as we seek God’s guidance for our shared mission as a global Baptist family. People of all ages and backgrounds are invited to come together to listen, learn, and be shaped by one another’s stories and perspectives. During this sacred time, we will encourage and support one another, deepen friendships across nations, cultures, and languages, and bear witness to our unity in Jesus Christ who binds us together.
