California, our Beautiful State,
Needs our Immediate Prayers
| |
Our brothers and sisters in Southern California need our prayers! Devastating and deadly wildfires have engulfed the Los Angeles area, destroying hundreds of homes and forcing the evacuation of nearly 100,000 residents.
We pray to God to help contain the flames, protect the firefighters, first responders, and residents, and bring a swift end to this catastrophic event.
We will be keeping each and every person in danger from the wildfires in our prayers and in our services. We know our prayers are powerful.
Prayer for all affected by wildfires
Gracious and loving God, we pray for those who are fleeing, and those who are safe; those who battle these fires under the worst possible conditions, and those whom they serve; those who offer help, and those who need it; those measuring incalculable loss, and those already praying for the will to recover and rebuild; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.

2025 Annual Stewardship Pledge | |
Support our 2025 Stewardship Campaign
This is the time of year to reflect on the blessing of our community and how we can support its continued vitality. We’re excited to launch our 2025 Church Stewardship Campaign, with a goal of raising $300,000 to support our parish and its mission.
Given the size of our parish, this translates to an average of $5,000 per donor. We recognize that some can give more and others may give less, and that’s okay. Every gift, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated and makes a meaningful impact.
This year, we’ve made it even easier to pledge:
to let us know your pledge.
Let’s come together as a community to achieve this important goal.
With Gratitude for your Generosity and Support

We are reading A Faith of Many Rooms: Inhabiting a More Spacious Christianity by Debie Thomas. When your faith begins to feel too small, too confining, you could choose to leave it. But what if the faith we inhabit is roomier than we thought? What if our collapsing faith is just a closet in a much larger dwelling? Disillusioned by narrow theologies, church dysfunction, and constricted readings of Scripture, people are leaving Christianity in droves. But Jesus describes the reign of God as a house with many rooms, writes author Debie Thomas*, one of the most auspicious voices in religious writing today. In this work of sprawling spiritual and literary imagination, Thomas claims that wherever God dwells, there is expansiveness and belonging.
