Bus and Parking

Bus transportation will be available for the Marriott Downtown and the South side hotels as listed on the website in the morning prior to start time of the Annual Conference Sessions and in the evening after adjournment each day.  See schedule .

You can choose to leave your car parked either in the Iowa Events Center parking lot during Annual Conference or at your hotel and ride the bus to and from Hy-Vee Hall.

Members of the Annual Conference will park in the North Lot at the Iowa Events Center. This is FREE parking.  

Handicapped parking is in the Near North Lot. Golf carts will be available in the Near North Lot for those with physical challenges to and from Hy-Vee Hall.

Bus transportation will not be provided during meal break times to and from the hotels or the Grand View dorm since there is a Concessions area available onsite during meal break times.

Bishop’s Fitness Walk 

On Sunday, June 10 from 6:00 am to 8:00 am join together and walk or run a 5K to raise monies for mental health reform in Iowa. The route will be on the Principal Riverwalk Trail along the Des Moines River in downtown Des Moines. Registration fee is $15.  Register here . SCHED Allows You to Get Changes to the Schedule in Real Time and Be Notified by Email

The Sched App (short for schedule) contains everything you need to know about AC2018, from workshops and meal break events to worship times and offerings. You can even create your own agenda to quickly look up the things that are most important to you. Sched also has links to important documents like the Pre-Conference Manual, seating charts, and display booth information. 

Changes to the schedule will be made in real-time, and any important information can be shared with users by email.  Don't unsubscribe from the Sched emails or you will not get their live updates. If you do unsubscribe, remember to "Refresh All Data."

The first time you visit the site, Sched will ask you if you'd like to bookmark the page. We recommend bookmarking or adding it to your homepage for easier access during the conference session. Sched can be used on smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Bookmark on your phone by visiting  iowaconference2018.sched.com/mobile .
