Registration Required
Registering for convention means the enrollment of all people planning to attend the 238th convention.
Certifying a lay delegation or a canonical clergy person is separate from registering for convention. It is also separate from making a hotel reservation. Registration enables planners to set up properly for meals, convention seating, worship layout, voting, and a hundred other details. There is a fee to register, paid at the time of registration.
Anyone who plans to attend convention such as clergy, delegates, alternates, members of governing bodies, candidates for diocesan offices, etc. must register in advance for convention. Registration opened on September 26, 2022, at the close of the certification period.
Parish Administrators: Please assist your clergy, delegates, and alternates to register as necessary.
Also, please note that Eventbrite now has an option for those who will are planning to attend only the Saturday portion of convention. For questions about registration, please contact Toni Snow at 302.256.0374, ext 103 or by e-mail at tsnow@delaware.church.

Resolutions
In advance of the convention, a hearing on resolution(s) will be held via Zoom on:
- Sunday, October 23, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This will reduce the work on resolutions that needs to be done on the day of the convention since any resolutions will have already been thoroughly discussed. For Zoom link and information, please see page 3 of the below Pre-Convention Journal.
Our rules of order permit late resolutions to be submitted up to convention day, these are only considered when a super-majority (two-thirds) of voters approves hearing them. Late resolutions (often referred to as floor resolutions) are any debatable resolutions received after the 60-day deadline.
Late resolutions are strongly discouraged. Therefore, the convention will be urged by the bishop to reject consideration of any late resolution that could have been submitted on time, and instead resolution writers are urged to submit them for the next convention.
To see the resolutions that will be discussed at the October 23, 2022, hearing, please see page 38 of the below Pre-Convention Journal.
