Undergraduate Reminders

Winter 2024 registration for undergraduate Sharks is around the corner! Here are some important details to be mindful of:

Do you know your class level?

If not, you can learn your class level by visiting the “Prepare for Registration” section in Sharklink by clicking the following tabs:

Academics > Registration > Add/Drop/Student Enrollment Agreement (SEA) > Prepare for Registration (Check by October 22 and do NOT check Degree Works to learn your class level!)

Verify you have no holds!

To see if you have any holds access the “Prepare for Registration” section in Sharklink by clicking the following tabs: Academics > Useful Links > View Holds.

  • For Academic Holds - Call CAPS at (954) 262-7990.
  • For Financial Holds - Call Bursar’s Office at (954) 262-5200.

Review your Academic Plan and/or courses needed for Degree completion.

Log into Sharklink > Quick Links > Degree Works. Once Degree Works populates, click the Plans tab.

Determine your ideal schedule.

Log into Sharklink > Quick Links > Self Service Banner > Register for Classes > Select Term (Winter 2024) and review the course list.

  • Locate your CRN’s or Course Section needed to register.
  • Be prepared to have a backup as some classes taught by your favorite professors fill up quickly!

You can check your registration dates by visiting the University Registrar's website via this link. Class level or registration status is determined based on the number of credits a student has earned, transferred, and is in progress of completing.
