A Precautionary Boil Water Notice remains in effect for all areas south of 23 Street from the ocean to the bay, including the Sunset Harbour neighborhood. The Venetian, Palm, Hibiscus and Star islands are NOT part of this advisory.
The notice remains in place until drinking water test results pass two consecutive days of testing and approval from the Florida Department of Health. Day one water samples were satisfactory.
Residents, visitors, and businesses are advised to boil all water used for drinking, cooking/food preparation, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. Bottled water may be used as an alternative.
The City of Miami Beach will notify residents and businesses when the Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been lifted.
