Precious Heritage Updates!

Greetings!

Loving greetings from Precious Heritage!

Life continues at Precious Heritage even in the midst of challenges. We sincerely apologize for not sending out a newsletter sooner, as we have been occupied with fulfilling the many new government requirements for running an orphanage in the Philippines. By God’s grace and mercy, we are now almost through with the process, and we are grateful to the Lord whom we both love and serve.

PH Children’s Home

Our children recently enjoyed a rare and joyful outing beyond the walls of the home. Thanks to the generous support of Christian Rahnsch, we were able to take them to Sta. Lucia Mall in Cainta, Rizal. The outing took place last Monday, when classes were suspended due to Super Typhoon Ragasa.

The children were thrilled to roam around the mall, watch a movie, and share dinner together. It was a day filled with laughter and smiles—an experience they will treasure. We thank God for this opportunity to bring happiness and lasting memories to their young hearts.

Ministry in Baseco Port Area, Manila

We continue to thank God for the privilege of serving families in the Baseco community. Through a partnership with the Office of the President, we have been able to distribute food packs to 30–50 families every month.

Baseco remains one of the most impoverished areas in Manila, where families live in fragile shanties and many children run barefoot in the streets due to poverty. Your prayers and support enable us to extend God’s love and hope to this community.

Relief Distribution to Families Affected by Floods

This September 2025, the Philippines was once again battered by heavy rains and widespread flooding caused by Super Typhoon Nando. Thousands were forced to evacuate their homes.

In partnership with Lee Chee Tian Precious Heritage joined in relief efforts by distributing food packs to affected families. Our scout children also volunteered in visiting homes to personally deliver goods. The recipients were deeply grateful, thanking God for the unexpected help during their time of great need.

Relief Distribution to Families Affected by Fire near PH Home

We are heartbroken over the recent fire that destroyed the homes of 12 families living near our Children’s Home. In the aftermath, these families were left homeless and hungry. Precious Heritage reached out immediately, offering prayers, encouragement, and food items for their urgent needs. Please join us in praying for these families as they rebuild their lives.

Street Ministry in Manila

In Metro Manila, where an estimated 250,000 children live on the streets, access to food, shelter, and education remains a daily struggle. Precious Heritage has been actively addressing this urgent need.

Just last week, through the generosity of Justin Keef we provided 40 nutritious meals to children in the Divisoria area, along with relief packs for their parents. This initiative not only alleviates hunger but also gives children the nourishment they need for healthy growth and development—helping pave the way to a brighter future.

Urgent Prayer Requests

We humbly ask you to join us in prayer for:

  • The health and safety of all children and staff at PH Children’s Home.

  • God’s protection over our children currently studying at the university, especially during this rainy season.

  • Sponsorship support for our 5 new university students.

  • Completion of all government requirements for the ongoing renewal of our residential facility’s license with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

  • Funds for the upcoming second-semester enrollment of our college students.

From all of us at Precious Heritage, thank you for your spiritual and financial support! Your generosity makes it possible for us to continue caring for the children and staff at PH Children’s Home.

Above all, we give God the highest praise for His continued protection over us all. Please know that your prayers and gifts are deeply appreciated—they are what keep this ministry running, alongside God’s unending favor.

Thank you for being a blessing to the children in need.

With love and gratitude,
