Warm Greetings from Precious Heritage!

Another year has come to begin, and as we embark this brand new year of 2022, I want to take this opportunity to let you know how much we appreciate your consistent prayers and faithful financial assistance to the ministry of Precious Heritage. These continue to enable us to function as a healthy and vibrant ministry that God has established for those who are in great need. We desire to continue to reach out to our community with love and concern, but most importantly, the sharing of love and the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ!

The past year had been a tremendous challenge in so many ways for all of us. While we still have seen challenges along the way as we have been dealing with the situation, we are happy to report that God is faithful! He has proven Himself over and over again through the faithful, consistent provision from people just like you. We are constantly praying for you that God will “open the floodgates of Heaven” in a powerful way very soon.

Early in January 2022, the Omicron variant drives COVID surge to an adversely new record level in the Philippines. The administration of President Rodrigo Duterte has responded with half-measures and threats of repression. The country had 33,169 new confirmed cases on January 10, setting a record tally for the third straight day, with a startling 46 percent positivity rate. The National Capital Region (NCR) had a positivity rate of 52 percent.

In this regard, for the whole month of the beginning of the year 2022, the government declared the National Capital Region (NCR Plus) in under Alert Level 3 and would only allows for outdoor activity capacity of 50% and indoor at 30% provided the people are fully vaccinated.

We thank God for the timing provision from Sir Michael Bezner who voluntarily extend funding to purchase groceries and distribute them to the homeless families in Manila and those families greatly affected by the continued lockdown due to Omicron virus. We were able to help more than 100 families from his donation. Praise God!

Times flies so fast that our wards are growing old. Since we started Precious Heritage Children’s Home in 2008, we have admitted countless of children, (orphaned, abandoned and neglected) who are coming in and out in our residential facilities. Some kids were placed for adoption, some were reintegrated with their biological families, but others will remain in our care till they finished college education and found stable jobs locally or abroad.

This academic year 2022-2023, two (2) of our wards will enter the university to take college courses according to their chosen career, while four (4) of them will be in senior high school. If the government will declare face to face classes, these six (6) wards will now go out of our compound daily to take their respective courses in different universities located near Antipolo or Manila where their chosen courses are being offered.

We are praying that God will enable us to find sponsors for their semestral tuition fees, daily transportation and book allowances.

We always thank God for everyone who did not stop helping the children and send fund regularly for their basic needs. May the Lord bless you always for sharing your lives and resources!
