Thank you so much to all who donated to our Love In Action fundraiser at Viso. We raised 97,709ksh, which meant that we were able to give food parcels to all of the Turi Children's Project families last week.

The TCP Impact group gave these out, which was a wonderful experience for them. They also made gifts of beautifully decorated pine cones to give to each family.

On 2nd March, 2023, we will celebrate World Book Day, which is a chance to promote literacy, whilst having a lot of fun. For this, all children need to come back to school after February half term with clothes to come dressed as a character from a book. Our author suggestions this year are the following:

• Eric Carle - Very Hungry Caterpillar, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, the Mixed Up Chameleon​​
• Enid Blyton - The Secret Seven, The Famous Five, Mallory Towers
• C. S. Lewis - The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and the Chronicles of Narnia
• Chris Colfer - The Land of Stories series.

We hope that you will be able to organise an outfit for your child during the Christmas holiday or during February half term.
