Give the Gift of Chickens!

SWIC encourages you to give the gift of chickens and help restore at least part of what Da’esh (ISIS) took away. You can be part of rebuilding the chicken industry one small bird at a time. Make a world of difference—for as little as $5. Gift cards can be found on the SWIC website and in Sunday's bulletin. Donations can be made at or send check to Stand With Iraqi Christians, 400 King of Prussia Road, Radnor, PA 19087
Thank you!
Pageant Planning
Take note!

December 23—Advent 4: The only full rehearsal for the pageant is this Sunday. Youth are asked to arrive at 8:30 a.m., and children to arrive at 8:45 to get into costumes. The rehearsal with the Adult Choir will run from 9 a.m. until 9:50. After the rehearsal, all participants will go downstairs to hang up costumes and share their plans for Christmas. This is a time for fellowship and to refocus on Christ at the center of the season.
December 24—Christmas Eve : The pageant will begin at 4 p.m. Youth should arrive at 3:15 p.m. Children are to arrive between 3:15 and 3:30 p.m. to get into costumes. Families can take seats up in the pews, leaving room for their children to join them. We will have music warm-up as soon as everyone is in costume. Children will then sit with parents until they are called to the front to take their places for the pageant after the worship service begins.
December 30 : There is no Sunday School. The nursery will be open.

More details for upcoming weeks can be found on The Pageant page on the SMC website.

On Sunday, December 30th at 10 a.m., St. Martin's Church will hold its annual Holy Eucharist Christmas service of Lessons and Carols. Listen to scripture and sing of his birth. Please join us for this special service that hopefully will enrich your spirit with good tidings of great joy!
'Tis the Season for Giving

Way to go St. Martin's! We delivered 14 turkeys, 3 hams, 1 beef roast and 24 bags of dinner sides to St. Barnabas on Sunday. They were so grateful and excited about what they would be able to provide to people this Christmas. Thank you so much to everyone who donated. Special thanks to Gale Muir who braved the damp & cold conditions to stand in the parking lot to receive the donations. We also made our first delivery of non-perishable items to our neighbors on Highland Avenue. They were thrilled with the 38 cans of vegetables, 19 cans of soup and 18 cans/boxes of "meals" (mac 'n cheese, beef stew, chili, etc). What a wonderful way to head into the last week of Advent. Here's to our continuing outreach endeavors in 2019! Merry Christmas to you all.
