SUPERSTARS IN BUSINESS AWARDS LUNCHEON

There is no question that small businesses are the backbone of the Delaware economy. The First State is home to nearly 28,000 small businesses that account for more than 98% of all businesses in the state and 56% of the workforce. On November 6, the Delaware State Chamber will honor eight small businesses and nonprofits that not only demonstrate effective business models with proven results but also support their employees and make impactful contributions in their communities.

Michael Meoli owns and operates 25 McDonald’s restaurants across the Delmarva Peninsula in Delaware and Maryland. He is the recipient of the Golden Arch Award, which recognizes the outstanding achievements of the top 1% of owner/operators worldwide.

Eggs are up 87%, auto insurance has soared nearly 47%, and gasoline, though on a downward trajectory recently, is still up 16%.” Read more >
