Hey Powerhouse Woman! 7:34 sec read

On Sunday, December 1st, 2019 we boarded the plane destined for 20/20. As we journey we are trusting and believing, that while on board, lives will be changed, bodies healed, finances and relationships restored, divine connections made, purpose, call, and assignments clarified.

Our goal is to arrive into the New Year with a view from on high. A view that would allow us to see exactly what we need to go hard after, and what we need to forgo. With Jesus as our pilot we are sure to land it!

The first week is the boarding call. Those that have registered for the challenge ahead of time are taking up the 1st class seats. During week 1 we are still figuring out the arrangements. We kicked off Day 1 via our PrayHers fan page . Day 2 begin our Monday-Friday morning motivational and prayer calls. In case you missed it below is the recap:

Day 1 - PrayHers- Motivator Tammy Dean

Sometimes, we don’t always know what we will do until given the opportunity. Our scripture reference was Luke 22:31-32, which gives an account of Peter’s betrayal to Jesus. Peter was forewarned that satan desired to sift him as wheat. It’s interesting that Jesus would use the world sift which means to isolate or separate. In other words, let me see what you are made of.

Satan desires to separate us from one another so that he can try and pummel us during times of weakness. Peter was blind and I guess a bit prideful about his strength to stand against the wiles of the devil. Jesus assured Peter that he had prayed for him, which meant that the prayers prayed will get him through. Our prayers one for another has the power to help us to get back up again should we fall.

Jesus issued Peter a challenge. In essence He said, when you are back on track  strengthen, or warn your brother who may be traveling down the same road of pride and arrogance. Help them to not make the same mistakes.

Many organizations have been birthed out of pain and lessons learned. A woman lost her child to a drunk driver and formed MADD Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Tonya Stafford was a survivor of human-trafficking and formed IGTBOK (Its Going To Be Ok). Those women can now help "strengthen' those who may find themselves on the same road.

DAY 2 - How Can I help? Motivator,  Tammy Dean
Day 2 marked the first day of our morning motivation and prayer calls! I loved the energy and the interaction that each woman brought to the room so early in the morning. I think we were eager to get the challenge under way.

Historically, Day 2 is the most challenging due to the ‘extra step’, which urges the reader to call up someone and ask if they could pray for that individual. For many that is awkward, but I made it easier by having pre-written prayers that can be prayed from the heart until ones comfort level is increased.
An excerpt from our scripture reference, Romans 15:1-3 MSG Bible, reminds us that, Strength is for service not for status!

What a powerful statement! The positions that we hold are not so that we can Lord them over people, but so that we can serve them. Look at King Solomon. When God said to him, “A sk what you will and I will give it to you” (1king 3:5). Out of all the things he could have asked for, Solomon asked for wisdom to lead God’s people. He was looking for the answers to serve better. Perhaps, that should be our prayer at times. Lord, give me wisdom and strength to serve better.

To Ask, How Can I Help takes humility, selflessness and sincerity. How often do we walk pass someone, and ask them how they are doing? Or, how is it going, but then we keep walking before they answer? Are we really interested in how others are doing, or has the question become cliche? Think about that the next time you walk pass someone.

It’s NOT always easy to take time out of our everyday life to see about another, but isn’t that what we are called to do? It’s not to say that we should try and be all things to all people. We would drive ourselves crazy doing so, but the challenge today encourages us to check in and let others know that we care.

THE CHARGE: Today, take time to listen to her heart. Learn to read between the lines, because oftentimes our heart speaks what our mouths won’t.

Day 3 Don’t Be Ashamed. Be Healed.  Motivator , Tieja Lampkin. We had a couple of people who admitted to the temptation to de-plane. Dana thought to herself, “ Why get on the call, all we are going to do is pray.” But, we found out that it was more than that! God reminded us that an opportunity to pray is an opportunity to draw near to His Power. Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to us (James 4:8). We were also reminded that we are not on a mediocre mission. We were “called” to the call that we may bring our gifts and energy to the room.

Day 3 was a reminder that we don't have to sit alone with our problems. We can be open and honest about our struggles. Who knows? You could be sitting next to someone who has gone through what you are going through. After todays challenge women awakened to the importance of transparency. Today, we were more excited because of the anticipation of a destination. We are definitely going some where!

Day 4- Better Than Your Barrenness - Motivator, Michelle Debenport.

Today, we realized that God is and will always be bigger and better than our barrenness. Michelle emotionally shared with us her personal story of waiting 20 years to have a child and to no avail. Asking God, “Why me?” But, she found peace and comfort in His love for her, and she sought out the option of adoption. She prayed for the women on the call who may be facing barreness. She also prayed for women who were barren in others areas such as-energy, finances, barren in their purpose, because they are not sure what they are supposed to do, barren in their health.

On Day 4 God gave me a timely word to share with us women and it was this:   Encourage the women to seek me. This is not just a mediocre mission. God says, I want to unload my love. Unload my provision. Unload my timing in their lives. I want them to live in the best of days for the rest of days. I am the Lord, I will not fail them and I will not fail you!

Lord, today was a blessing. It is a pleasure to see how you are arranging everything.

Day 5- Love Her Anyway! When I dialed into the call there were already people on the line waiting, which was beautiful, because already I could feel the energy. I knew we were in for a great time. A God time.

On the plane we had a seat re-assignment. Min. Tina filled the slot of Dr. Stacy for Day 5.  A strategic move by God Himself. I loved having the lines unmuted in the beginning so that we can all welcome our sisters as they joined in. To hear the women say, “Good morning,” made it a…good morning. During our motivation moment Min Tina had us think of a woman who has tested our love walk to say the least. Once we had her in mind, in unison we repeated the prayer that was in the book, a portion of that confession was, “If there is any hurt in her heart that may have provoked her betrayal, please mend it with Your love. Help her to treat even her enemies with kindness and respect, not repaying evil for evil.”

During the time of prayer, Min Tina prayed and in her prayer it released somethings that had us thinking, for instance, sometimes the women we need to pray for are the women in our family. Hurt can be generational. Grandma hurt momma, momma hurt her daughter and on it goes. Therefore, during the call we were challenged to reach out, not just to our friends and co-workers, but family as well and pray for them.

Lastly, I love what Tieja (my lovely co-host) said, God show me HER heart so that I can pray with YOUR heart! Wow, that is key. Praying for people with the heart of God.

Day 6 Get Rid of the Unforgive-MESS- Motivator Lady J Ables

Today, was the last prayer and motivation call of week 1, and I would say today was a matter of the heart more than it was about prayer. It was MEAT for our soul. It’s as simple as this! Water can’t flow down a clogged drain.

Some of us are wondering why we just can’t seem to get that breakthrough. It’s because our heart is clogged with “Mess.” We are holding on to offenses of the past. We are still angry or bitter about the divorce, abuse, unjustice, the firing, or the loss. We are angry over momma not being there, or daddy not being there resulting in a clogged heart, which equals clogged blessings. Yes, you will get a few trickles, but God has ALREADY poured the blessing, it’s just clogged in unforgiveness or disboedience.

Take-Aways from Lady J’s motivation and prayer.

Acronym for MESS is Missing Eternal Serenity and State of being.
  1. Examine your emotions. Examine yourself. If you can’t handle what is wrong with YOU, how can you extend love to anyone else?
  2. Unforgiveness is like a room unclean and full of clutter, confusion, and chaos, or something out of order. This is the picture in our heart when we don't forgive.
  3. Forgiveness is a choice by faith

Characteristics that indicate that a person might be in unforgiveness

  1. They have burst of anger.
  2. They are petty.
  3. They are a bully, or have PMS- A Pretty Mean Spirit.
  4. They are Desperate to make people under stand them and not misunderstand them.
  5. Can’t seem to get a breakthrough in prayer on anything else.
  6. They replay the wrongs done to them. They keep a list of the wrongs done.
  7. They don’t like themselves.

KEY points to forgive!
  1. Recognize your part in the problem. Maybe you need to ask for forgiveness. Maybe you need to visit the grave site of that person who is long gone, but caused you pain, or perhaps you caused them pain, and forgiveness is needed.
  2. Be willing to forgive. Free yourself. Put Yourself on the shelf. God can’t use the bitterness and unforgiveness in your heart because it may defile others. Hebrews 12:5 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.

Day 7 In HERS is YOURS- Luke 1:41-42

Day 7 Luke 1:41-42 (KJV) 41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: 42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed [art] thou among women, and blessed [is] the fruit of thy womb

Have you ever got excited just over hearing someone’s voice? Yes, our voice has power. That is a good reason why we should pick up the phone sometimes and allow people to hear our voice. We don’t always know what that will IGNITE in them. There are days I will call my husband at work just to hear his voice, and immediately I feel comforted.

Who should hear your voice today? Mom, aunt, or grandmother? What can we say that will cause something in her to be refreshed or ignited? Also, Mary and Elizabeth was in each others presence, so maybe today you should schedule a lunch date or time with someone.

Don’t Charge It To Christmas! Tammy Dean
Let's make sure our Christmas season spending isn’t linked to pride or misdiagnosed expectation. In other words make sure you are not buying a gift under pressure, or a perceived expectation.

I will admit, when we were trying to get rid of credit card debt it was very hard to omit Christmas gifts from family and friends.

There was a lot we wanted to do, but couldn't, at least if we didn't want the creditor's foot on our neck. We had to be strategic and buy for a select few, and buy from the heart, and not out of obligation.

It’s not a blessing if it creates debt and pressure in your life. Proverbs 10:22 says, the blessing of the Lord it maketh rich and he adds no sorrow with it .

Sorrow means no pain, hurt offense, hardship, toil. Therefore, if creating debt will cause you sorrow later then is it a blessing? At least not a blessing from God.
Spend wisely sis!
