Tentative Plans for Will Files' Memorial
I know that everyone is anxious to hear about plans for Will Files' memorial. The first family members got to Homer yesterday and family will continue to arrive all weekend. The family is very conscious of the health and safety of both Martha Ellen and our whole community. It is likely that there will be a small, semi-private memorial that is livestreamed on the church Facebook page so everyone can watch from home, followed by an outdoor reception that may be open to the public. I will pass along more information, as well as the date and time, as the family makes plans.

We will have a time to share memories of Will in the worship service on Sunday.
In Person Worshliip
Our hybrid in-person and online worship service is at 11 am. If you are participating from home, the service will be live-streamed on Facebook at 11 am and the video will be posted on YouTube by 4 pm.

If you are worshiping in person, please wear your mask at all times while in the building, and sit with your family group or bubble spread out from others.

If you are showing symptoms of COVID, or have close family or friends with COVID, please stay home and worship with us online.
Resources for Great and Small Series
Summer is a great time to enjoy the beauty and majesty of God's creation. But the summertime pace can be frantic. This year, let's have a slow summer. Let's enjoy nature. Let's move our bodies. Let's adjust our schedules. Let's reset our priorities. Let's have a slow summer.

This 6 week sermon series will follow the Great and Small Guide to the Most Okayest Summer Ever by the Salt Project. Click here for the booklet, which is full of ideas, activities, and conversation topics for people of all ages.

To find even more slow summer activity suggestions, click here for the Find Your Slow Summer guide.

There's also music! Click here for the Summer Series playlist.

Some print copies of the booklets will be available at the church on Sunday morning.

Let's celebrate a slow summer!
