World Labyrinth Day
Saturday, May 1, we will hold our 5th World Labyrinth Day Celebration at St. Augustine's. This event will be held outdoors in and around our labyrinth. Come dressed appropriately for the weather.
The celebration will begin at noon with the Litany for Peace, taize songs, and the blessing of the gardens led by the Rev. Judith Lethin. Please bring your own camp stool or folding chair to use during the Litany. Weather permitting (no rain, sleet, or snow) there will be supplies available for painting prayer flags and rocks. Meditation/prayer walks in the labyrinth will begin at 1 PM (Walk as one at 1). However, the labyrinth will be open all day so you may walk at any time except while we're doing the Litany for Peace.
Our Covid-19 protocols will be followed which means that, even though this is an outdoor event, face masks will be required and social distancing will be observed. No food or drinks will be served.

Pastor Lisa's Pandemic Schedule

Work Days: Tuesday-Sunday
Day Off: Monday
Filming Day: Friday

Please contact me any day, any time if you have an emergency. Otherwise, please respect my day off. You can leave a voicemail or email, and I will respond to you on Tuesday. On Fridays, my phone is on airplane mode most of the day as I film, but I do check it regularly, so leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

Over the course of the week, if you are in need of comfort and worship, "visit" some of the other Alaskan United Methodist churches to watch their worship services. Click here to see the list of churches offering online worship.
