Hello Northwest Washington Special Synod Assembly Meeting Voting Members,
THANK YOU for registering for our upcoming Saturday, May 16 online assembly meeting - we are looking forward to seeing your faces when we begin at 9:00am.
Our check-in crew will open the zoom meeting at 7:30am.
- You are strongly encouraged to log into the meeting early

Each attendee received the zoom link when they registered for the event, check your email - if you do not have that link, email Susan@lutheransnw.org ASAP
- When you click the link, you will arrive in the meeting waiting room
- Once our check in crew admits you to the meeting, they have checked you in, and your name is properly displayed, you are welcome to turn your camera off and mute yourself - go enjoy a cup of coffee or your breakfast until the meeting officially begins at 9am. (Thank you for your assistance and patience as our check-in crew must credential each of our anticipated 200 voting members)

Update your Zoom account (https://us02web.zoom.us/download)
- Change your name to include: first & last name, congregation name & city (if you cannot do this prior to the meeting, you will be asked to do so when entering the meeting by our check in crew - they can help if needed)
- Review the meeting materials below
- Hold the synod, the assembly leadership, and our nominees (Elizabeth, Sierra, Netsie, Brent & Cindy) in prayer as we prepare for the meeting

Internet Failure and Election Process
According to Rule 22 or our Proposed Standing Rules, if a voting member's internet connection is lost, they may cast their vote by calling a special Election Phone Number. Phone votes must be received prior to the official announcement of the vote. If your equipment fails, call this number to place your vote: 206-297-8200 – state your name and congregation and your selections for votes. SORRY, NO TEXTING, only a phone call. Please limit your use of this phone number to May 16 - and only for the purpose of casting your vote(s).
