Healthy Lifestyle Expo happens at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center on Fri., May 19 (noon to 7 p.m.) and Sat., May 20 (9 a.m.-6 p.m.). Runners, volunteers and spectators can get certified in

Start Times
Devil Dog Double begins at the Semper 5ive start line in downtown Fredericksburg at 6:40 a.m. The Semper 5ive launches at 7 a.m. The Historic Half will start at 7 a.m. near Wegmans. Devil Dog runners have until 7:30 a.m. to reach the turnaround located at the finish line and begin the 13.1 mile portion. Remember no strollers allowed in the Semper 5ive.

Noteworthy guests celebrating the 10th Historic Half with appearances at the Expo and the start line include Chuck Bell from NBC4 Washington; Jim Klock, former Stafford County detective and current Hollywood actor/producer/director with recent credits including Deep Water Horizon; and Runner’s World Chief Running Officer Bart Yasso.
Celebration Breakfast
Limited tickets remain for breakfast with Bart Yasso from Runners World magazine on Saturday morning, May 20 at 9 a.m. One of the most entertaining speakers in the running world, Bart is making his first appearance at the Historic Half.
Plan a visit to the shops, restaurants and sites of downtown Fredericksburg. On Saturday, May 14, a free trolley shuttle will run from the Expo to three Downtown spots from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Run the Half or 5ive, then sign up for the three other designated MCM Events in 2017 to earn the coveted Distinguished Participant medal.

Run for a cause
MCM registration is sold out but there's still a way to run in October.
MCM Charity Partners have entries and offer runners a way to raise funds and awareness. Select a cause that matters to you or shop around for the right program to meet your training goals. Running with a charity adds meaning and motivation to MCM participation.
Many
volunteer positions remain available for Historic Half Weekend, especially at Packet Pick-up during the Expo. Work alongside the men and women of the Marine Corps and support the runners.

The MCM10K start returns to the nation’s capital in 2017 on the National Mall.
