CUNY Callouts: Meet New Faces

Meet Charmain Liddelow — currently the manager of special events and alumni relations at Macaulay Honors College, who has been a part of the CUNY community for 20 years. An alum of Brooklyn College and CUNY SPS, she previously worked part-time at CUNY while attending school and holding down jobs on several campuses. “Just like our students, I worked while going to school,” she says. “I left school to work full-time, but decided to return to finish up my degree.”

What she loves about CUNY: “CUNY has something for everyone, no matter your age and what stage in life you’re at. It gave me a second chance when I needed it. CUNY has so many caring people who work behind the scenes, often unseen, doing their part to make it the engine of social and economic mobility. Cheers to the collective power!”

What she does for fun: “I love to cook and bake, but I love DIY projects, too!”

What her day-to-day job looks like: “My day-to-day consists of collaboration with different teams internally and externally. I work on special events and get to work with current students, alumni, faculty and parents.”
