June 2021 | Early Childhood Advocate Updates
UWWC’s Family Support program has partnered with the National Diaper Bank Network to found the Covering Weld Diaper Bank. A diaper bank functions much like a food bank, and distributes diapers to agencies and their programs, so that they can distribute the diapers to their clients in need. Diaper need in Weld County is significant. Establishing and supporting a diaper bank fits right in with UWWC 1522037 priorities, as it contributes to helping children be healthy and thrive; mobilizes the community to improve lives; and helps parents move toward financial stability. For more information contact Amelia Ritchhart.
