Preparing for the 2018-2019 school year
Online registration forms will be available
July 2-31
Next week, check your email for a message from the District about registration for the 2018-2019 school year.

The message will provide instructions to complete online registration forms and will offer parents the option to submit proof of residency online.

Online registration is open through July 31, and a parent in the household where the student primarily resides may complete the registration forms using the  Parent PortalOnly the parents or guardians listed as the primary residence family will have access to complete the forms.

Registration will be centralized for all PreK-12 students on July 25 and July 31 at the Ray-Pec South Middle School, 20501 S. School Rd., Peculiar.
  • July 25: 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • July 31: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • If you cannot attend on either date, contact your child's school after Aug. 2.
If you do not submit proof of residency online, please bring one utility bill (water, gas, or electric) when you register your student(s) on July 25 or July 31.

In addition to proving residency (if not done in advance), you may pay fees, pick up student schedules, view spirit wear, and meet with representatives from PTA, Apple Bus Company Staff, and Child Nutrition. The Cass County Health Department will have staff on site to provide immunizations.  Read more:  Back to School
Physicals required for students in sports & activities
District to offer second Physical Night on July 26
Students entering grades 9-12 who plan to participate in sports or activities must have a completed, current physical on file with the high school Activities Office before Aug. 6 (the first day of fall sports practices/try-outs).

A current physical is dated after Feb. 1, 2018, and includes 4 completed pages. Any student without a current physical on file prior to Aug. 6 will not be allowed to attend practice/try-out until bringing the completed physical form to the Activities Office. This includes students who plan to participate in sports, marching band, cheerleading, dance, and color guard.

Turn in your High School physicals now!
If your student has already obtained a physical, you may email the form to Karen Moore at [email protected] , fax the form to 816-892-1452, or drop the form at the high school front office. (Note: If your student participated in the February Physical Night at Ray-Pec High School, that physical is on file and valid for the 2018-2019 school year.) Link to physical form .

July Physical Night
If your student still needs a physical for participation in 2018-2019 activities, a physical night has been scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at Ray-Pec High School. Because this is the first time to offer a summer physical night, please RSVP if you plan to attend. This will allow organizers to schedule the appropriate number of volunteers and health care professionals to conduct the physicals. Sign up here

Middle School physicals
Middle School fall sports practices start Aug. 13. You may bring completed sports physicals for 7th and 8th grade students to registration on July 25 or July 31.
