New This Week
Stewardship for All Seasons
Thank you to many who have returned their cards. You have been a great help to meet our goals for ministry. If you haven’t returned your intent card yet, a second mailing will be coming your way. If you haven’t returned your card, we ask you to pray about your response and return your card no matter your financial situation, giving intent, or level of contribution. This includes current givers who use ach, envelops, or give another way. Even if you plan on continuing at the same level, we would like to know your “intent.”

We celebrate that we are just over halfway to our 50% return rate of intent cards for the 2021 Stewardship Appeal. So far:
  • 44% have increased their giving to the ministry
  • 10% are households that have not returned intent cards before
  • $38,772 is the amount increased – our goal is $50,000 to support our ministry for youth camperships
  • Improving technology
  • Expanding our capacity to reach more people with the Good News message of Jesus Christ with our new positions of a Visual Storyteller & Community Life Coordinator.

Continue to be resilient in God’s love!

Advent Bible Study
(December 1, 8, 15, 22) - 6:30pm

During Advent, a midweek discussion group around Mark’s gospel will be provided. Pastor Judy has prepared four short videos to watch and discuss. Pastor Chuck will lead the discussion to ponder the Advent season of preparation for the coming of Christ’s birth.
If you would like to be part of the discussion group, please signup to receive the Zoom invitation.
Holiday Wish Tree
With the holidays fast approaching we have a couple of families in the need of some special Christmas cheer. One thing that always impresses me is how generous our church families are towards those who could use a little extra.
If you are interested in helping these families please go on the link below. Donations accepted before December 14th. Thank you!
In Case You Missed It
Advent Devotional
A copy of the Advent devotional came recently in your email. If a paper copy would benefit you, there will be paper copies in the bin by the front door.
Still looking for a few more Confirmation Gowns!
Please drop off your gowns and pickup your certificates and bibles next week. 8:00am-1:00pm. Please call the church office if the timing doesn't work and we will make other arrangements. Thanks
Support Group for Caregivers with
Loved Ones in Care Facilities
During this challenging time, we recognize the need for support for caregivers that may be unable to see their loved ones. Fox Valley Memory Project is starting a support group specifically for caregivers who have loved ones in care facilities. This is an open group and attendees are welcome to join at any time without registration. This group will start out taking place over Zoom until it is deemed safe to return to in-person programming. Join us the 2nd Thursday of each month at 12 PM.
