End Times Prayer - Strength, Renewal, Hope Just 5 minutes a day ‌ ‌ ‌

Prayer Power Tip “The Son of Man will come with his angels in his Father’s glory, and then he will repay everyone according to his conduct." - Matthew 16:27

The apostles may have thought that the coming of the kingdom of God was imminent. "Amen, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." (Mt 16:28) After Pentecost, they risked everything, life and limb, to spread the word of the return of Jesus to claim his kingdom. Well, here we are 2000 some years later, still waiting. Have we grown weary? Have we wavered in our hope? Have we given up on asking God for help? Our children can see when we waver in our faith and hope. Let's strive to be joyful examples of strength, courage, and perseverance for them. In God we have all the strength we need to press on towards the heavenly prize as St. Paul exhorts us.

I issue a challenge to you in this last month of the church year! You choose! Search the scriptures for hope or Read the Book of Revelation. Both options are wonderful sources of meditation for a time of prayer. Spend time with Jesus every day. He will refresh you and rekindle the fire of the Holy Spirit in your heart, mind, body, and soul! Take a short break for God and enjoy this song from Third Day! Pray Well!! And Happy Thanksgiving!
