An Invitation: Clergy Retreat on October 17-19
El Caribe Resort and Conference Center in Daytona Beach
Guest Speaker: The Rev. Jon Brown,
Pastor of the Old Bergen Church in New Jersey
Church ministry leaders are called by God to first learn and then serve in the church. In learning, we are surrounded by other students and great teachers who inspire us. Then we accept calls and are thrust into the work, losing much of the fellowship and support that hatched us. We read the occasional book and have the now and again lunch with a colleague, but we tend to isolate ourselves from the very support that helped form us. COME REST AWHILE is a chance to reclaim that time of spiritual formation. We have, in Jon Brown, an excellent and nationally recognized workshop leader. We have an oceanfront hotel. All we are missing is you. Read more / register here.
