Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 4 pm – 6 pm
The Chancel Choir and Orchestra Christmas Concert makes a joyful return following a year off due to Covid. Music of the season by Vivaldi, Rutter, Forrest, Vaughan Williams, and others will fill our beautiful sanctuary. Join in the singing of traditional carols with the audience as we proclaim, “Gloria in Excelsis Deo!"

TIPS FOR CARING FOR GOD'S GOOD EARTH
DURING THE HOLIDAYS:
  1. Slow down and take time to contemplate/connect with the season and others. Reconnect with nature.
  2. Buy fewer gifts and more creation-centered gifts like donating trees or using environmentally friendly wrapping paper or educational gifts or meaningful gifts.
  3. Use electronic or hand-made cards.
  4. Reduce, reuse, recycle decorations and avoid plastic decorations.
  5. Use locally grown, vegetarian options, organic foods for meals and parties.
  6. Use natural non-toxic cleaners for laundry and house.
  7. Attend church and holiday events.

The PW of Giddings-Lovejoy Presbytery is selling packs of these beautiful note cards. These cards were to be sold at the National PW Churchwide Gathering that was to be in St. Louis, in August, but was moved to an online format because of the pandemic.
