Trinity Presbyterian University City
Education Hour
Sun., Apr. 10 at 7 p.m.

R. Marie Griffith, a historian of American religion at Washington University, will be the guest speaker.
Topic - She will speak to us about her timely book Making The World Over: Confronting Racism, Misogyny, and Xenophobia in U.S. History (2021), followed by Q&A. (Reading the book in advance is not required to participate.) From the publisher: “Making the World Over is Marie Griffith’s thoughtful response to an imperiled nation that has forgotten how to listen and debate productively, at a time when it needs vigorous discourse more than ever. Griffith performs the urgent work of examining the histories behind the issues at the root of our country’s conflicts both past and present, from race and immigration to misogyny and reproductive rights.”

Tips for Caring for God's Abundant Creation:
Use gray water when possible.
Gray water is water that has been used but is not necessarily contaminated. You can use dish water, hand washing water, and cooking water to water plants, for example.
TIPS is brought to you by the Earth Care Team of Presbytery to give practical ways to care for planet Earth, our common home. Contact: carletonstock@aol.com or 314-941-93789.

The Spirit of Stewardship Planning Team, after much deliberation, has made the decision to postpone the 2022 Spirit of Stewardship Conference.

Special Offerings and the Presbyterian Giving Catalog: One Great Hour of Sharing is the single largest way that Presbyterians come together every year to work for a better world. Typically received on Easter Sunday, which this year falls on April 17, the annual offering supports Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, the Presbyterian Hunger Program and Self-Development of People. All three programs work in different ways to serve individuals and communities in need to provide people with safety, sustenance and hope.
