"It is not always easy for us to realize that we have received from God in abundance because we have a mindset to think that we always need just a bit more in our lives; more money and more materials goods."

For those of you who didn't get to see the Plenary presentation, vote, and reading of the litany of Repentance it is now up on the GA225 site at https://ga-pcusa.org/video/ as part of the July 6th Plenary 7 session. The presentation of RGJ-08 starts at the2:05:45 mark. You can also see the presentation of RGJ-08 to the Race and Gender Justice Committee on June 24th at Video – Committee Sessions - The 225th General Assembly which starts at 48:36. There is as well a print account of the Race and Gender Justice Committee docket at A reading as a first act of repentance that includes the Litany of Repentance and links to the final wording at PC-Biz. I would also recommend the Riverside Conversation presentation from the Special Committee on Racism, Truth, and Reconciliation that Ryan has been part of. RIVERSIDE CONVERSATIONS - The 225th General Assembly
Thank you to John Northrip of St. Mark Presbyterian for his guidance on how best to view and follow our Overtures Advancements in Videos.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
Contact Number Simplified
|
If you or someone you know is in crisis, please note that beginning July 16th, dialing 988 will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and to trained crisis counselors who provide 24/7, free, confidential support. Spread the word about this valuabe number. It's as important to know to call 988 during a mental health crisis as it is to call 911 during a medical emergency.

Presbyterian Women Giving Day - 2022
A message from Susan Jackson Dowd, Executive Director of Presbyterian Women
“PW Gives Day, a day to remember the many ways Presbyterian women support the promise of God’s kingdom, is fast approaching. July 31, the day Presbyterian women’s organizations officially combined to become Presbyterian Women, was chosen as a day to acknowledge and honor our PW founders—those foremothers who provided us with the shoulders we stand on. My shoulders—your shoulders—provide PW’s ongoing foundation. PW Gives day supports the annual fund (Mission Pledge), which undergirds PW program from the congregation to the national level.”
Support PW on PW Gives Day 2022
Give online at http://ow.ly/xAY150JyoOi. Then select PW Gives Day and your gift amount. Or mail your check to Presbyterian Women Inc., PO Box 643652, Pittsburgh, PA 15264-3652. Please indicate annual fund and PWGDay22 in the memo line of your check.

It gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
