Tips for Caring for God's Good Creation:
Follow the results of the current UN Climate Summit in Glasgow, Scotland.
Nearly 200 nations are represented at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference going on now until November 12 in Glasgow, Scotland. Officials have stated three concrete goals for the conference:
1. Countries promise to reduce carbon emissions by 45% by 2030.
2. Rich countries agree to contribute $100 billion a year in aid to poor countries (The 20 richest nations contribute 80% of the carbon emissions.)
3. Half of that amount needs to be aimed at adapting climate change's worst effects.
Please continue to pray for these goals to be reached so that we can together avoid disaster and ruin to this incredible planet God has provided for us!
"TIPS" is brought to you by the Earth Care Team of the presbytery. Contact: [email protected] or 314-941-9378
