Acts 2: Coming of the Holy Spirit,
Pentecost Video
Inspired to nurture creativity, serve with imagination, and bring some light and joy to the malaise of the pandemic, Light for the Darkness has created a Pentecost video  on Vimeo or dropbox, including a selected reading of Acts 2. If you would like to share our video with your congregation, it would be amazing if you would support our artist, composer, and videographer. However, if you like the video and have already committed those funds to feeding other hungry folks, please go ahead and share the video.
To support Light for the Darkness, send a check, with the memo:
Light, to:Presbytery of Giddings-Lovejoy, 1001 Craig Rd, Ste 170, St. Louis, MO 63146.
Peace, joy, and health be with you,

The free virtual summit, hosted by  Seattle Pacific University , is being funded through a grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust.  Learn more   and  register for the summit .
Pentecost Offering Taken Until May 31
Nurturing the faith of those who are the church to come
A gift to the Pentecost Offering helps the church encourage, develop, and support its young people, and also address the needs of at-risk children. 40% of the Pentecost offering can be retained by individual congregations wanting to make an impact in the lives of young people within their own community. The remaining 60% is used to support children-at-risk, youth, and young adults through ministries of the Presbyterian Mission Agency.
Consider giving if you are able - Click here for details
Day of Pentecost Bell Ringing
The Episcopal Diocese of Missouri invite their Presbyterian siblings to join with their congregations in ringing church bells on Sunday, May 31 at 12 p.m. (Noon) in honor of those who have died from COVID-19 and in thanksgiving for the essential workers who have kept things going during this time.

Seeking Coupons
The Coupon Club shops each week for a local food pantry, Circle of Concern in Valley Park, Missouri, by combining church donations, coupons and grocery sales to stretch our dollars. With the Covid-19 shutdown, our coupon donations are way down -- normally our members drop these off each week at church. Can you help?
We shop each week to meet pantry needs, but normally we focus on non-perishable food items:
Cereal • Pasta Sauce • Pasta • Jelly • Peanut Butter • Canned Pasta • Canned Fruit • Dinner Helpers • Mac & Cheese • Snacks, i.e., fruit snacks, granola bars, Pop Tarts, crackers, chips • Laundry Detergent
If you have any of these coupons at home, please mail them to: Coupon Club, Woodlawn Chapel, 16520 Clayton Rd., Wildwood, MO 63011.
