Mid Council Gathering holds prayer as verdict announced in police officer’s murder trial

A Chicago police officer has been found guilty of second degree murder in the shooting death of a seventeen-year-old teenager. A few miles away, attendees of the Mid Council Leaders Gathering discussed Fearless Dialogues, a grassroots movement and organization that encourages people to have hard discussions, break down barriers, and build respect and relationships.

“HEALING JUSTICE” 

On Sunday, October 28, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Webster Groves Presbyterian Church Advocacy Team and the Dismantling Racism and Privilege Team of the Presbytery welcome you to a special screening of Healing Justice. This powerful documentary addresses the school-to-prison pipeline, the need for comprehensive criminal justice reform, and the importance of healing and restorative practices. Trivia Night Fundraiser
