Find Gods Love in How We See
Each Other and Ourselves
"... when Jesus, after first laying hands on the man’s eyes, asks “Can you see anything?” to which the man replies “I can see people, but they look like trees, walking.” How often, I thought, do I see others so dimly, and as something other than who they really are?..."

Are you the Church Historian? Consider….
Records of Historic Value—A message from PHS
What are records of historic value, and how does the Presbyterian Historical Society collect and preserve them?
PC(USA) offices, churches, and mid-councils create records every day. Some of these records are transactional, created as part of the organization’s routine business, and can be destroyed when they’re no longer in use. Other records document the deliberations, vision, and work of the church in the world. These are worth perpetual preservation. The Presbyterian Historical Society collects these records of historic value and preserves them in secure on-site and online facilities.
While these records of historic value might look different for every office or body, PHS staff are trained and available to help make decisions about what records should make their way to the archives. Click her to find out how the Presbyterian Historical Society serves as the record keepers of the PC(USA).

Voyager Scholarship: Obama-Chesky Scholarship For Public Service
Applications are due by March 22

Shaping the next generation of public service leaders - An increasingly globalized world needs young leaders who can bridge divides and help solve our biggest challenges together.
The Voyager Scholarship was created by the Obamas and Brian Chesky, Airbnb Co-founder, and CEO, to help shape such leaders. Even though they come from different backgrounds, both the President and Brian believe that exposure to new places and experiences generates understanding, empathy, and cooperation which equips the next generation to create meaningful change.
This scholarship gives college students financial aid to alleviate the burden of college debt, meaningful travel experiences to expand their horizons, and a network of mentors and leaders to support them.
