Pentecost Video with the Children for the May 31st Worship
Because we are still unable to worship in-house and offer a special celebration for Pentecost, I would like to invite the children to help me create a video for this festive day which will be shown during the children’s time on May 31 st. The video will be a collection of photos of the children holding one of coloring pages that are on the links below . The video will also include this passage from Romans 15: 13:

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

If your child would like to participate:

1)      Print the attached coloring pages.
2)      Have your child color as many as they would like.
3)      Once they are completed, take a photo of them holding the page. (If they color more than one page, you are welcome to send multiple photos.)
4)      Send the photos to me at:
5)       Photos need to be received by the end of the day, Monday, May 25th.
6)      The photos can be taken inside or outside, just be sure to capture their beautiful smiling faces!

I hope that your child will help celebrate the “birthday of the church” by submitting a photo! I think they will enjoy seeing themselves on the screen during worship! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am working from home, so the best way to reach me is by email.
Vacation Bible School Options for This Summer
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not able to offer an on-site Vacation Bible School this summer. Still, we hope we can offer the children the very best alternative with two different At-Home programs.

The first one is called Camp in a Box. Designed for age’s kindergarten through fifth grade, each box provides five days’ worth of activities that are screen free, encourage outdoor activity and minimize the demands on parents. Each day has a scripture and theme and all activities tie into that day’s theme.

The other option is called Compassion Camp: Be Loved, Be Kind, Be You. Designed for age’s kindergarten through fifth grade, this option also has five days’ worth of activities specifically designed for preschool age children. The theme is centered on compassion for others, the world and ourselves.

Each kit comes with all the supplies needed for your child to have a fun and meaningful VBS experience at home. It is suggested that one kit is purchased per child. The cost is $10.00/per kit.

The kits will be available for pick-up at the church entrance the week of June 22nd.

To help with planning purposes, please contact Lisa Turner at to reserve kits for your children.
