A Note From the Teachers:
Thank you for all your wonderful help and support with our eventful October, from helping with the Harvest parties to your patience with the hectic schedule of teacher workdays.  Thank you for making time in your busy schedules to come for Parent/Teacher Conferences. It is nice to see you and talk to you about your wonderful children! ~ Preschool Teachers

Parent Information:
Don't Forget Coats: The weather is unpredictable. Make sure your child is prepared with appropriate outdoor attire marked with their names! You may want to make sure that your child's extra clothes are warm ones too.

Lions Vision Screenings: On Wednesday, Nov. 1st and Thursday, Nov. 2nd the Lions Club will be here to offer free Vision Screenings to PreK-1st Grade students. If you wish to have your child's vision tested, please be sure to return the permission form.

Thank You!   Thank you to the PTF volunteers who provided lunch for the teachers during conferences! Thank you for all you do! Thank you to those who have donated Barbies and treasure box items. We could still use more treasure items for the classrooms if you're interested in donating. Thank you!

Thanksgiving Lunch for Students:   Bookcliff Baptist Church will be blessing our students and staff with a Turkey dinner for lunch on November 9 th. No need to pack sack lunches this day.
 
Picture Retakes : Picture retakes will be November 7 that 8:30, for anyone who missed picture day, or would like to have their photo retaken.

Parent Information:
Family Pie Potluck: We look forward to having all of our families (PreK-5th) together for our Family Pie Potluck on November 10th @ 6:00pm. This will be a fun evening for students and parents to connect and enjoy time together. Look for more information coming home soon.

Christmas Program: This year our Christmas Program will be a combined effort with the preschool and the school. Therefore, mark your calendars for December 15 instead of December 8th, and watch for further details.

Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF): Thank you for all of your contributions towards our October activities. It’s been a joy serving together. There are lots of opportunities for everyone to join in the fun! Email bcsparents@bookcliffbaptist.org

Happy Thanksgiving - School Closed November 20-24: We are grateful for each of our families at BCS. It is an honor to join you in this journey of teaching and growing these precious children. We wish you a blessed break with family and friends, that is full of thanksgiving and praise! Bookciff Baptist Church wants everyone to enjoy a good meal. If you, or anyone you know, is in need of help with Thanksgiving dinner, please email Sonda@bookcliffbaptist.org

Reminders:

  • Please put your child's name on backpacks, coats, lunch boxes, sleep toys, etc. The preschool is not responsible for lost or broken items.

  • Please make sure that your child takes home their projects, coats, and backpacks. Our cubbies and lockers are becoming over-crowded. Remember also to check your child's folder daily for letters, notices, billing, etc.

  • Toys should NOT be coming to school with your child.

  • Parents are invited to join us in prayer. Please join us in the library on the third Thursday of each month, at 8:00am. If you can’t be present, consider setting an alarm and praying from wherever you are.
