As expected, due to summer enrollments, our alphabetical based orientation assignment days must be adjusted to ensure small groups on each day.  Please see the specific area below for information and the specific class for assignments.


Tuition is a set amount for the year broken up into 10 monthly payments. due on the first Friday of each month beginning in Aug. unless auto payments have been set up. If your tuition is higher than expected it may be that we are waiting on scholarship info.

Student Orientation Assignments have changed!!

Our student orientation days will allow the children time to ease into school by gathering in smaller groups. Please note that we may have to shift some students depending on enrollment and how the alphabetical breakdown works for each classroom. Final orientation day assignments will be determined the second week of August. All students will be invited to attend a 2 hour morning session AND also an additional orientation day based on their particular enrollment of full or half day.


First orientation session for all students- 8 AM- 11 AM

Second orientation Full or half day session based on your child's normal enrollment times-for all students- 8 AM- 11 AM or 8 AM -3 PM   If your child normally attends half day or full day please follow that  time for pickup.

First Week of School

Monday August 29th First Week of school-Students resume their normal schedules 

Extended Day services are available.  There is no need to reserve a spot for extended day services.

Teacher Updates

Welcome to Dominique Price and Dennelle Stewart


Mrs. Price will be the lead teacher for PK5.  She holds a Master's degree in Special Education and is excited to join our family!  We are lucky to have you!


Ms. Dennelle will be our building float!  She has many years experience in the education field and we are thrilled she is joining us.

Extended Day and FAQ's


Extended Day hours will begin Monday August 29th. 6 AM-7:45 AM and 3 PM-6 PM. More information about this program will be in the next newsletter.


JFS/PFCC- If you have a case or wish to apply for publicly funded childcare benefits, please be aware that cases must be open and care must be transferred by the first orientation day at the latest. If the case is not transferred you will be billed the private pay rate until a case is in place. Questions? contact Ms. Huber ehuber@stcatherineearlyed.org


ODE Grants for 4 year old Ohio children- We still have some grant slots. Contact 419-478-9900 for application procedure


Parish Active Parishioner Scholarships-YOU must apply for these each year and are responsible for following up with the school office on the status of your application.

Summer shopping- Please do not buy fancy clothes. Play clothes which may get dirty are perfect for exploring and learning! Our only dress code requirement is closed-toed shoes for protection of little feet.


Lunch Program- You may pack lunch for your full day student or you may utilize our hot lunch program. Lunch will be $2.90  this year with an opportunity to apply for free and reduced prices.  Order forms will be linked in the next newsletter and also available on Parent Orientation Night!    Free and Reduced price application can be HERE
