A phone call, email and text notification will be sent to families and staff from the information provided in your PowerSchool account. The announcement will also be posted on the District website, District social media and sent to local media outlets. Please note, bus route information for 90 minute late start weather delays can be found on the website under Transportation.

Wes Kitzman, CFHS senior, earned the highest possible ACT composite score of 36. About one-quarter of 1% of students who take the ACT earn a top score. In the U.S. high school graduating class of 2022, only 3,376 out of 1.34 million students who took the ACT earned a top composite score of 36. The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science, each scored on a scale of 1–36. A student's composite score is the average of the four test scores.

Congratulations to Ashlyn Davis! She graduates from Cedar Falls High School at semester and completed her Associate of Arts degree at Hawkeye Community College. CFHS offers several concurrent classes, earning both high school and college credit, in partnership with Hawkeye, and Postsecondary Enrollment Options through the University of Northern Iowa.

Dance Team Clinic for Preschool through 6th grade

Saturday, February 10, 8:30 - 11 a.m.

The cost is $35 per dancer and includes learning a dance, t-shirt, snack, and entrance into the CFHS Sophomore Basketball Game. Register by Feb 2nd to receive a T-shirt on the day of the clinic. All dancers will receive a shirt by the performance.

First United Methodist Church, 718 Clay Street, Cedar Falls

A night for kids and their grownups to enjoy together! Grades Pre-K through 6th grade are invited to join the Cedar Falls Dance Team for the 2nd Annual Sweetheart Dance! There will be games, crafts, dance music, and photo ops – get all dressed up for night of fun and dancing! Entry tickets $10 per person, Tickets must be purchased online.
