Coach Smart Consulting
Consulting/ Coaching
About Coach Smart Consulting
Caring for another person is a tough job and requires a lot of energy and
resources to be accomplished successfully. Currently, there is a lack of advanced
care planning. The simple fact is that many individuals are not prepared
nor have organized their information so they can get the care they may
need or have their end-of-life plans known.
In my own life, my daughter suffered a traumatic brain injury at a very young age from a motor vehicle accident that left her with developmental disabilities. For more than 25 years, I have been my daughter’s legal guardian and conservator and that required me to be organized. These experiences have helped me gain significant knowledge in the areas of our lives that are important in relationship to assisting others.
CoachSmart Consulting, LLC evolved to help individuals and family members organize the information needed for future care or to help those who currently have others caring for them today. Consulting and coaching services are available to help navigate the questions, services, agencies and information that is needed by family and caregivers. A
Personal Care Guidebook
is also available as a tool to be used in this process and is available at coachsmartconsulting.com.

Veterans Rock
Non-Profit Organization
About Veterans Rock
We improve the Quality of life for Veterans through Technology Training
Our mission statement is striving to improve the quality of life for Veterans through new technology training that allows them to learn new skills in a comfortable and supportive way. It is our goal to help Veterans reintegrate into society, employment and generally feel confident and become adept with new technological systems.
New technology can be intimidating for anyone. And when someone starts to feel “out of the loop”, it’s that much harder to get back in. As is known and scientifically documented, Veterans have significant hurdles to climb (e.g. far higher rates of PTSD, depression and anxiety and feelings of isolation) after their sacrifice in service. Veterans Rock aims to increase the feelings of integration into community and society in general as well as self-sufficiency though the main service of introduction and instruction using modern technology.
I offered to help – to show in an unintimidating and supportive way that the command over new technology is well within the grasp of nearly all Veterans, and being able to use this new technology has many benefits. It bolsters self-esteem, allows them to connect with loved ones far away through videochats, we teach how to search via YouTube and Google, how to safely navigate the internet, and much, much more.

Pet of the Week
"Buddah"
Buddah, a beautiful 84 lb. Labrador Retriever mix, is an older guy (about 9 years old) who is looking for his forever home! He’s got low to medium energy and he will need someone who is willing to take the time to work with him in a calm and quiet home where he can be given the time to become comfortable with you and build a bond. He will probably be best as your one and only and we suggest that you not have any cats or children under 7. He needs some training on walking on his leash but all in all he’s a good boy who is eager to learn and to please.
A note from Buddah: “Hi special furever friend!! I can’t wait to meet you and hope that you’ll come on down and have a meet and greet with me so that I can show you my true personality and all the love that I have to give you, cuz there’s a lot of love in me. Hope to see you soon!”
