Local Chambers of Commerce unveil #YavapaiSafe Program for Businesses
There is no way to guarantee the absence of the COVID-19 virus, however following the Yavapai County Community Health Services (YCCHS) recommendations is the best way a business can ensure they are doing as much as possible to protect the health and safety of their customers.
Being #YavapaiSafe means that a business has self-certified that they have reviewed the applicable guidelines for reopening and operating their business in the age of COVID-19 and are making a good faith effort to practice procedures and policies in their businesses that follow the YCHS guidelines.
Businesses may self-certify by viewing the guidelines on the YCHS webpage (
https://www.yavapai.us/chs/Home/COVID-19
) , then by requesting a decal through either the Prescott Valley, Prescott or Cottonwood Chambers of Commerce. Businesses who elect to participate in the #YavapaiSafe program should post the sticker/decal in a prominent, visible location.

Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) and Dignity Health are currently involved in discussions to evaluate a potential collaboration between the two organizations. YRMC, with acute care hospitals in Prescott and Prescott Valley, primary and specialty care clinics, and extensive outpatient services, has been serving western Yavapai County since 1943.
Discussions are ongoing between both organizations and a decision regarding collaboration is expected this summer.

Hi… My name is Spot and I need your help! I need someone who can be a medical foster and let me come hang out at your place for a while!! I have Valley Fever, which is not contagious to you or other animals, but I do need medication given to me daily. I also have arthritis which makes me move a little slower and I’m also partially deaf, but I am full of love and ready to give it to you!
I need to be the only dog in your home and we should probably not have any kiddo’s around either, that way I can just share all my love with you!
If you are interested in helping me… Please give Gabe a call at 928-445-2666 and he can get you all the information you’ll need to help me out!
