Dear Library Community,
As we approach Friends of Libraries Week from October 20 – 26, I want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support and dedication provided by our Friends of the Prescott Public Library. This week is an opportunity to recognize the vital role they play in enriching our community and enhancing our library's programs, services and resources.
The Friends of the Prescott Public Library make significant impacts by advocating for our library, sponsoring events, and raising funds that allow us to expand our offerings. From author visits to children’s programs and book clubs, their efforts have a profound impact on our ability to serve you and foster a love for reading in all ages.
We invite you to join us in honoring their commitment during this time. Whether you contribute to the Friends, volunteer your time, or simply attend events, every contribution makes a difference. Together, we can continue to cultivate a vibrant hub of knowledge and creativity in our community.
Thank you for being a cherished part of our library community. Your support helps us thrive!
Warm regards,
Melissa Orr
Library Director

National Friends of Libraries Week |
Did you know that while the City and County provide funding for staff, operations, and materials, it is only through donations and funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library that we can provide programs for our patrons and complete special projects?
Help us celebrate National Friends of Libraries Week October 20-26, 2024! The library has submitted a proclamation to celebrate our Friends to be read at the October 22nd Prescott City Council meeting.
