PRESIDENT'S CORNER

I hope that you enjoyed our October meeting with Kathi Hoffer from Dignity YRMC, Next month we will hear from Senate President, Karen Fann as our Keynote Speaker. November is also our Annual Meeting which is when we hold our elections. See the report of the Nominating Committee in this Newsletter.

It has been my pleasure to serve as the first President of this new club and I wish the club and the many, many NEW Prescott Valley members continued growth and success. It's unique to start up a new club in an area that is exploding with newcomers. Invite your friends and get involved!

Our PVRW Club Delegation is looking forward to attending the AzFRW State Convention Oct. 21-23 in Scottsdale. I want to thank our Club for not only filling our Delegate quota, but also for placing a priority on our participation with the AzFRW. As Past President of the AzFRW, it's a great organization and it's important for our members to know we are part of a much larger statewide organization in Arizona. AzFRW meetings are a great way to network and get to know other like minded women from across Arizona. State Board of Directors Meetings occur 3 times per year in even years and twice in odd years with the Biennial Convention making up the 3rd meeting in the odd year. Although I could not attend the NFRW Convention in Florida, I hear it was fabulous! Yes, WE won the top echelon Diamond Award for Club Achievement! More to follow in the next newsletter about our AzFRW Awards which will be presented at the State Convention.

In closing, our new Club is off to a great start for our first official year and I hope that many of you will remit your dues for 2022, invite your friends and help the incoming leadership grow the club.

See you in November 2nd, make your reservations early!

The Prescott Valley Republican Women's Club donated a living tree to a park in Prescott Valley. This donation was made possible by our members and guests monetary donations at the last few luncheons.
