PRESIDENT'S CORNER...
Our September meeting was most interesting & informative with Judge Michael McGill and Gubernatorial Candidate Matt Salmon. Once again, it's a group effort each month, so sending out thanks to Michael Greer for her help at registration/check in, to Kay Gorman and Sandi Irwin as our Welcome Ambassadors, to Terri Harrington for our logo gear sales and Sandra Laney for our 50/50 opportunity drawing.
For those who missed the meeting, we also approved our AzFRW Convention Delegates. In addition to myself, the PVRW Club Delegates will be:
Jamie Goeringer
Kay Gorman
Lauren Hawkins
Terri Harrington
Liz Kennedy
Anne Roper
We will be voting on AzFRW Officers for the coming two years as well as many bylaws amendments. We will attend great workshops and hear from keynote speakers.
The Prescott Valley Republican Women Holiday Event will take place on Wednesday, Dec 8th at the Prescott Centennial Events Center. LOTS of prizes and fun with special guests the Hon. Ken Bennett and AzFRW President Cindy Casaus. Ticket prices for a delicious Holiday Luncheon are $40 and advance reservations to attend the party are required. We will be taking reservations at both the Oct & Nov meetings and will also have flyers at both meetings. You may also mail in your reservation to Treasurer Lauren Hawkins. Why not bring a friend or neighbor?
A reminder that PVRW is about our Town. If you're new to the area, did you realize that our Town literally runs on sales tax? Shop local when you can, it really does matter!
See you on October 5th!
Mary Williams, President
