Introducing Polyvalan Crystallophore Pre-Screening and Experimental Phasing Agents
We are now offering Polyvalan's new generation of Crystallophores Lanthanide based complexes. Crystallophores TbXo4-02 (new Terbium generation) and LuXo4-01 (Lutetium 1st generation) are unique pre-screening and phasing agents.
When used as pre-screening agents they can be useful for:
- Obtaining crystals from new crystallization conditions
- Inducing different crystal forms
- Improving crystal quality and reproducibility
When used as phasing agents they can be useful for:
- Overcoming the tedious and time-consuming work of seleno-methionine labeling or of heavy atom incorporation
- Serving as powerful phasing agents for native crystals using SAD or MAD methods.

Learn More and Ask Questions About Polyvalans Crystallophore Agents
On October 21st at 11am EST we will have a Zoom Meeting during which a representative from Polyvalan will provide in-depth details and answer your questions about Crystallophore Pre-Screening and Experimental Phasing Agents. You will be able to ask your questions beforehand and during the meeting. The recorded version of this meeting will be made available to all attendees.

Article - Structure of a Hallucinogen-Activated Gq-Coupled 5-HT2A Serotonin Receptor
This article at Cell by Byran L. Roth (et al.) seeks to understand better how psychedelics mediate their actions, whether under therapeutic and hallucinogenic conditions.
They do this by, "gaining molecular insights into psychedelic actions, they determined the active-state structure of HTR2A bound to 25-CN-NBOH—a prototypical hallucinogen—in complex with an engineered Gαq heterotrimer by cryoelectron microscopy (cryo-EM).
They also obtained the X-ray crystal structures of HTR2A complexed with the arrestin-biased ligand LSD or the inverse agonist methiothepin."
