ESF Trash Audit Needs Your Help

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to help the Office of Sustainability determine how well the ESF community is collectively at sorting trash and recycling on campus during a trash audit. The results of the audit will inform future outreach and engagement efforts. 


Safety training with PPE will be provided to all participants. Participation will be capped at 15 people.

Join the Indigenous Environmental Science Book Club

The Center for Native Peoples and the Environment invites faculty and staff to join the Indigenous Environmental Science Book Club. This reading group is a space to gather with peers over tea and snacks for informal discussion and mutual learning about Indigenous perspectives on environmental science. This semester, they will be reading a selection of texts focused on Haudenosaunee history and culture. 


The group will begin with the “Neighbor to Neighbor: Nation to Nation” booklet, which “is dedicated to the continuing friendship between the peoples of the Haudenosaunee and Central New York.”

December Grads: Fill Out the Graduation Input Form 

ESF will hold December Commencement ceremony at Hendricks Chapel on the Syracuse University campus to recognize students who will be completing their degree requirements this semester. We’re excited to celebrate with all students and their supporters.


All December graduates are required to complete the Graduation Input Form, which includes information including how you want your name to appear in the program and the mailing address for your diploma. To access the form, open the link in incognito mode and use your esf.edu credentials.
