Dear sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, part of a growing repentance remnant globally,
This week, holy for Christians and Jews, includes removing leaven, sin in ourselves and our habitations. Exodus 12: 25 states: " Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel."
And the Holy Spirit, speaking through Paul in 1 Corinthians 5: 6-8, tells us: " Your glorifying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."
Question: can you imagine what you might have done to get ready to attend the Last Supper? Wouldn't you and I have cleansed physically and spiritually for the chance to be in His presence?
That's exactly what TODAY He invites you and me to do! To spend time with Him, "dining" with Him, One on one. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." ~Revelation 3: 20-22
One who was at that Last Supper, Peter, tells us: " Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, ' Be holy, for I am holy.' " ~1 Peter 1: 13-16
Do you hear His voice? Will you open the door? No better time than now!
