Good afternoon. I hope everyone is outside enjoying this beautiful weather. It is going to be a short reprieve before the temps soar again. I would like to thank all of the emails I received in response to our request of prayers for Ms. Ashley and her little girl, Stella. As of today Stella has been moved out of ICU into PICU overflow and the next move is to a regular room. Looks like they will be in the hospital for a few weeks to recover then she will start chemo and radiation. Many of you asked what you could do to help out. I have listed some information below feel free to help out with these suggestions and continued prayers are wonderful as well.
This week we will be headed to the Kansas City Zoo on Wednesday and Thursday. The schedule for when each class is attending is listed below. Tuesday students are invited to bring a teddy bear to school for a teddy bear picnic. This is an individual classroom activity so your child's teacher will have more information on how they will be doing this event. It's hard to believe we are heading into the 6th week of summer session and we only have 4 1/2 weeks to go. Another big group of classrooms had their floors waxed this weekend, so Monday morning may be a little chaotic as teachers move furniture and centers back into place. Please check with the front office and we will let you know where to take your child when you arrive. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
